Не могу успокоиться

Решила сохранить весь тот пост, из которого взяла предыдущий кусочек, потому что он идеально выразил все мои мысли о серии.
Полный ППКС!!!1. I thought this was worse in terms of whitewashing Sam in my opinion than what went on in the first three seasons.
2. John is still Dean's idol? WTF, Kripke? After the last 4 years, most especially after Jump the Shark? So all the growth we've seen in Dean, all the pushing John off the pedestal has now been totally retconned?
3. Sam's throwing it all back on Dean: Yep, I can see exactly what Sam and Lucifer have in common. So, it was Dean's fault that Sam spent all of last season being an insufferable ass and moron? The same thing Sam did in Metamorphosis. And just like in that ep, the show had Dean just stand there and say nothing back.
4. We know from Death Takes a Holiday how much what Sam said in Sex & Violence--mirroring Sam's words in Asylum--hurt Dean, yet the show has never since had Dean confront Sam about that or what it said about Sam's feelings toward Dean, and again, here, Dean says nothing. (And Sam had these feelings toward Dean in season 1, so nothing has changed.)
5. Dean's treating Sam like a little brother is what made Sam go with Ruby all the time? How then does that explain that Sam hooked up with Ruby one lousy week after Dean died and started drinking demon blood, using his powers, breaking his promises (along with going to movies and shopping for iPods) and hunting for Lilith? Was Dean still treating Sam as less than equal from the grave? And Sam says this about last season, when he's never been more on his own and doing what he wanted to do?
So when Dean is dead, it's his fault because Sam is grieving (despite the sex, movies and iPods), and when he's back, it's his fault first because he's prejudiced against demons and now because he just didn't Sam the props Sam thought he'd deserved.
6. Sam still has never apologized to Dean for all the crap about Dean's being weak and cowardly and not as good a hunter, or as smart and strong. That Dean couldn't handle the job but Sam could. Or for strangling him--why even put something that horrendous in the ep if it will never be acknowledged or touched on again?
Sam, respect should run in two directions, not just from Dean to you.
7. My hopes for Sam's growth and maturation have pretty much gone out the window; at this point, I don't think Kripke will ever let Sam truly grow up. Because being an adult to me does not mean being in charge or giving orders, it means truly facing up to what you did--not just the stupid seal, because Sam didn't know about that, but everything else--and taking responsibility for your actions and your attitudes, NOT keeping on making it someone else's fault.
We're basically being told that Sam's ego was so large, or he was so weak, that he followed after Ruby no matter what she said, no matter what she wanted him to do--demon blood, Sammy!--no matter what angels, brother, psychic and prophet said--all because Ruby played submissive and let Sam be king of the hill and she stroked his ego and told him how wonderful Sam was. (Maybe Kripke doesn't like Sam all that much after all.)
I was really enthusiastic about where Sam might go this season but now, my expectations for his character could not be any lower. I don't think there's any way they can save him for me at this point.
8. And EK, what happened to Sam's "breaking the world" because of his "pride and selfishness" that we got at Comic Con? Clearly, it was all Dean's failure to treat Sam as a Big Boy.
9. I can see why Dean is the Righteous Man, not to mention the real adult in the family. We saw that Dean was hurt last year, but he clearly is not holding against his brother. He's taking full blame for the seals and but relieving Sam of the responsibility, even though it was Sam's refusal to listen to anyone except his demon BFF and his ego, and his obsessive desire for revenge, that got him to the point--something Dean could have hit hard but refrained from doing. He accepts that he may have been treating Sam like a little brother (something ingrained in him for 26 years making it a hard habit to break) and offering Sam what Sam wants, without asking for the respect he hasn't gotten in return.
а просто тоже взять и эти гениальные слова процитировать, ибо ППКС 1000%!
Угу, очень верно все изложено, ни прибавить, ни отнять.
